Internal Medicine

147 S 52nd Pl
Springfield, OR 97478

Thorough and caring, Dr. Jane Mossberg enjoys working with young adults to seniors, ages 16 and up. With more than 27 years of internal medicine experience, she takes a holistic approach by considering the whole person – body, mind, spirit and emotions – for optimal health and wellness. Her goal is to help patients gain proper balance in life.

She earned her medical degree at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. She completed her internship and residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York City, and earned double degrees in electrical engineering and life sciences (biology) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

She is grateful for her parents who emigrated here from China, inspired by God to escape communism. They met in New York and started a family. She is a proud graduate of New York City public schools – considered the best in the country at that time – and worked in Boston, at both the U.S. Postal Service and as a fellow in general internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital.

In her free time, she enjoys playing classical piano, gardening, reading, playing Sudoku, following the news and spending time with friends and family. She has two grown daughters; one lives in New York City, the other in Portland, Oregon.
