Dr. Siva Kamal Guntupalli has provided medical care in several communities, both in India and United States, gaining extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide variety of medical conditions. He has also worked on various research projects at the Mayo Clinic Rochester, primarily focusing on post-intensive care syndrome and aerosol generation during the COVID pandemic, which resulted in publications.

He completed his residency training at Louisiana State University Health, which further strengthened his clinical acumen. During residency, he became well known for his diagnostic skills and excellent communication. Upon completion of his residency, he was recognized with an award for his “uncanny ability to pursue diagnostic clues to achieve difficult diagnoses to benefit his patients.”

Dr. Guntupalli enjoys providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages and genders as a primary care physician. His diverse experience also includes simulation-based medical teaching. When asked what brings him the most satisfaction as a physician, he shares: “It is the journey I undertake alongside the patient—addressing fears, navigating uncertainties,  inspiring hope from the very first visit, collaborating and coordinating care with specialists, and working together towards healing and improving quality of life to ultimately see happiness in my patients.”

Outside of his professional life, he is an avid outdoor enthusiast and spends most of his free time hiking, kayaking, bicycling, jogging, running, and swimming.
